Stormwater Presents Speaker Series: City of Rochester Best Management Practices - An Assessment of Current & Future Practices

The City of Rochester has implemented many different best management practies (BMPs) to mitiage the impacts of development or address specific water quality issues.  The BMPs vary according to regulatory requirements at the time of construciton, treatment area and physical site conditions and/or constraints.  The purpose of this presentation will be to discuss the types of BMPs that are relied upon by the City of Rochester to provide water quality treatment and the associated benefits of each including an overall assessment of treatment efficiencies.  The presentation will also focus on the future of stormwater management within the City of Rochester and emphasis on green infrastructure.
