General Watershed Maps

We have collected several useful web-links for real-time monitoring data such as weather conditions, stream level measurements, flood warnings, etc.

Long-Term Stream Gauges - The U.S Geological Survey has operated gauges at Kellogg, Zumbro Falls and Rochester. They continue to maintain the Rochester site, while the MN Department of Natural Resources (DNR) now operates the gauge at Kellogg. Together, these records extend back to the early 1900s, although none of the three is continuous.
Flood Warming Gauges - the DNR maintains flood warning gauges upstream of Rochester: Bear Creek, Cascade Creek, Silver Creek, and South Fork Zumbro River. There is also one site upstream of Pine Island. All of these records can be reviewed at the Cooperative Stream Gauging interface maintained by the DNR and Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.
