Zumbro Watershed Partnership, Inc.
What's New?

Grant updates:

The ZWP has been awarded the MN Pollution
Control Agency's Surface Water
Assessment Grant (SWAG) for 2009 and
2010.  We have contracted with the
Wabasha Soil & Water Conservation District
to monitor
nutrients, bacteria, temperature and clarity
in the cold-water trout streams of the
Zumbro Watershed.  Data will be available
this fall for the first monitoring season.

Also, we are happy to announce that the
ZWP has also received a second year of
funding from the McKnight Foundation!  This
funding will help the ZWP continue to
outreach and educate the citizens of the
watershed about water quality issues and
how to restore and protect our valuable
resources.
